Role Overview

The Partnerships & Community Manager will play an important role in building Chery UK’s brand presence, partnerships ecosystem, and owner community in the UK. This role combines strategic partnership activation with hands-on community creation and management, ensuring that brand partnerships and owner engagement programmes deliver measurable business and brand impact. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, this person will be the day-to-day lead of Chery UK partnerships and the architect of Chery’s owner and brand community, linking both areas to create integrated, value-driven campaigns and experiences. This role is critical to building Chery UK’s brand reputation and long-term value in the UK. By connecting strategic partnerships with an engaged owner community, this position will help turn customers into advocates, amplify brand reach, and create differentiated brand experiences beyond the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnerships Management & Activation
    • Own the day-to-day management of Chery UK’s brand partnerships, acting as the primary contact for external partners.
    • Ensure all partnership assets and campaign elements are activated across the full marketing mix (digital, social, retail, events, PR, content).
    • Work cross-functionally with internal marketing, sales, PR, and product teams to deliver integrated 360 campaigns.
    • Support identification, negotiation, and onboarding of new strategic partnerships that enhance brand equity, reach, and commercial outcomes.
    • Manage partnership timelines, deliverables, budgets, and reporting to ensure contractual obligations and KPIs are met.
  • Community & Owner Club Development
    • Create and manage Chery UK’s brand community / owner club, defining the strategy, structure, and value proposition.
    • Develop community engagement programmes, events, content, and partnership-led benefits that add tangible value for owners and prospects.
    • Foster a loyal, active community by encouraging interaction, feedback, advocacy, and brand participation.
    • Moderate and manage community channels (e.g., social groups, CRM platforms, forums, events) ensuring consistent tone of voice and brand representation.
    • Work with partners to deliver exclusive community experiences, offers, and content.
    • Act as the voice of the user in product, marketing, after-sales and dealer network discussions.
    • Ensure community initiatives are supported at dealer level and deliver value to owners (e.g., loyalty events, surveys, referral programmes).
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the key liaison between Chery UK, partners, and community members.
    • Ensure clear, consistent communication and high-quality support across all stakeholder groups.
    • Build strong internal relationships with marketing, sales, dealer network, and product teams to align partnership and community initiatives with commercial objectives.
  • Strategy, Performance & Insights
    • Develop partnership and community engagement plans aligned to brand and business objectives.
    • Define KPIs for partnerships and community (e.g., engagement, reach, lead generation, advocacy, retention).
    • Monitor performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimise strategy and ROI.
    • Identify opportunities to scale successful partnerships and community initiatives.
  • Brand Representation
    • Represent Chery UK externally through partnerships, events, and community interactions.
    • Ensure all partnership and community activities reflect Chery’s brand values, positioning, and tone of voice.
    • Support brand-building initiatives that strengthen Chery’s reputation and long-term brand equity in the UK market.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years in partnerships, brand marketing, community management, or sponsorship activation.
  • Experience managing external partners and delivering integrated campaigns.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs and reporting.

Desirable

  • Experience in automotive, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
  • Experience building or managing owner clubs, loyalty programmes, or brand communities.
  • Understanding of digital platforms, CRM, social communities, and experiential marketing.
