The IT Manager – Europe is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and operation of IT systems and infrastructure across the European business. The role focuses on building a scalable and secure IT landscape, supporting business digitalization, and ensuring alignment between headquarters and local entities. As a key interface between business functions and IT, the IT Manager plays a critical role in enabling efficient operations, system integration, and compliance with European regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and drive the IT and digitalization strategy for the European region, aligned with business objectives.
- Act as the central point of contact for IT demand management, coordinating local business requirements with headquarters and external vendors.
- Plan and manage the annual IT budget, including systems, infrastructure, and service providers.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems, including SAP (ERP/Finance), CRM, HR systems, and OA platforms.
- Ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud environments, and workplace IT setup.
- Oversee IT operations, including hardware, software, user support, and lifecycle management.
- Manage IT vendors and external partners to ensure high-quality project delivery and service performance.
- Support the implementation and operation of financial systems (especially SAP), ensuring compliance with local accounting, tax, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure IT security, data protection (GDPR), and risk management across all systems and processes.
- Provide IT training and user support to improve system adoption and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in an international or cross-border environment.
- Solid experience with enterprise systems, especially ERP, CRM, and HR systems.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Experience in IT budgeting, vendor management, and system implementation.
- Fluent in English; Chinese or German is a strong plus.
- Experience in the automotive industry (OEM, commercial vehicles, or dealer networks) is preferred.
