We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Product Manager to oversee our commercial vehicle. Define and execute the product roadmap for the commercial vehicle range, aligning with European factory plans and UK market requirements.

  • Lead the UK market input for new model development, ensuring right-hand drive (RHD) conversions and local adaptations are fit for purpose.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the UK CV market, tracking competitor specifications, pricing, and registrations (SMMT data).
  • Set and manage the retail and fleet pricing strategy for vehicles to achieve volume and market share targets.
  • Work closely with Marketing to create compelling product brochures, technical data sheets, and training materials.
  • Provide product training to the dealer network and internal sales teams.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for Electric Commercial Vehicles (ECVs), including range analysis, payload implications, and charging infrastructure support for customers.

Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Planner, or Technical Specialist within the UK Commercial Vehicle industry (essential). Deep understanding of the UK truck, van, or bus distribution model, dealer networks, and major fleet operator requirements. A degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but vocational experience is equally valued.

Ability to interpret sales data (SMMT), market trends, and financial reports. Ability to understand vehicle specifications, driveline configurations, and bodybuilder interfaces. Commercial acumen: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data modelling); experience with CRM and ERP systems. Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to Europe (factory visits).
