The business focuses on developing intelligent and sustainable commercial vehicle solutions, including electric vans under the DELIVAN brand. With strong R&D capabilities and a global strategy, Chery is rapidly expanding in Europe, building its sales network and key account structure to support long-term growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking six experienced Country Managers to lead market entry and sales expansion for our VAN product line across key European markets. Each Country Manager will be responsible for one of the following territories: France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, or the Nordic Four (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark). You will build local dealer networks, drive sales volume, and establish Chery VAN as a trusted commercial vehicle brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute country-specific sales strategies aligned with global BU goals.
  • Identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and analyse customer needs in the VAN/LCV segment.
  • Recruit, train, and manage local dealers and distributors.
  • Build strategic relationships with fleet customers, government bodies, and industry associations.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales volume and revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and local inventory levels.
  • Lead local marketing campaigns and product launches in coordination with HQ.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (China & UK) on homologation, logistics, and after-sales support.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Commercial vehicle (VAN/LCV) experience is highly preferred.
  • Language: Mandatory – fluent spoken and written Mandarin Chinese. Business-proficient English is required. Local language skills (French/Italian/Spanish/Dutch/German/Danish/Swedish/Norwegian/Finnish) are a strong advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, dealer management, analytical, and cross-cultural communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned country/region and occasionally to China or the UK.
