The predicted salary is between 40750 - 55755 £ per year.

This is a great opportunity to make your mark in North Oxfordshire. We are looking for a mid‑career Landscape Architect or an experienced Landscape Architect seeking a change of environment. You will ideally be a confident Landscape Planner with landscape design and implementation experience.

You will provide robust, defensible critiques of landscape and visual impact assessments; contribute to the delivery of landscape policy and guidance; and supervise the review of detailed landscape proposals and landscape implementation. You will be expected to help develop and monitor systems of working to ensure an effective and responsive landscape service. You will be supported by the Urban Design, Conservation and Environment Team Leader.

Qualifications and Experience

You will be a Chartered Landscape Architect with experience of working in multi‑disciplinary planning environments. You will have a deep understanding of landscape and visual impact assessment, including preparation of LVIA’s and landscape evidence for appeals. You may have experience participating in appeals as an expert witness. You will be familiar with landscape design and implementation best practice including play, SuDS and biodiversity, and have excellent organisational skills to support junior staff.
