We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our property and assets team and take an active role in the management of our property portfolio, all of which is located in Cherwell. We have a large and varied portfolio including investment, commercial and our own corporate properties across a variety of assets including retail, leisure, offices, industrial, car parks and depots. We have now moved to a new office in Banbury and are involved in a number of new initiatives aimed at improving services and enhancing the management of our commercial state.

The Person

With an industry recognised property qualification, you will have previous experience of working in a corporate property environment, ideally with local authority experience but this is not essential. You will have demonstrable experience of effective engagement with stakeholders using your excellent communication, report writing and negotiation skills to achieve good outcomes. We are looking for a well organised candidate who is able to problem solve effectively. An understanding of financial and budget management will be essential to ensure the Council receive excellent value for money.
