As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for high quality teaching and learning, along with directly contributing to and maintaining the successful leadership, management and reputation of your nursery setting. Qualified to degree level with a proven track record, you will inspire, lead and motivate your team whilst drawing on your in-depth knowledge and Early Years' experience to plan, teach and assess our Pre-School children.
Key to the success of this role is balancing the needs of all stakeholders including children, their families, staff and our regulator, Ofsted. You will also be responsible for being a reliable key holder. In this role, continuous professional and personal development is an essential part to maintain up to date relevant knowledge. Due to the changing nature of the service we provide, this job description will not be an exhaustive list of all your duties. Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Hours split across Cherubs Sutton-In-Ashfield and Cherubs South Normanton
Description of Duties:
- Deliver an amazing service, for both our children and families.
- Create a high quality, rich, stimulating and enabling environment containing items that will spark curiosity and lead to independent exploration.
- Deliver high quality interactions through planned activities to raise the standard of teaching and learning across the setting and ensuring Pre-School children are school ready.
- Get to know the children, families and staff team at the nursery, creating a trusting rapport with all, including leading parents evenings and meetings in relation to children's development and preparation for school transitions.
- Ensure all SEN/ASL needs are identified early and are met with respect, care and professionalism.
- Where necessary work alongside the Nursery Manager and Group Safeguarding and SEND Lead.
- Ensure that ratio and internal regulations are always met.
