About Our Nursery
Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield is a modern 63‑place nursery. It’s well‑placed with good bus and road links and benefits from local amenities including shops and supermarkets.

P.S. as an Apprentice you can apply for an ISIC – International Student Identity Card. Just like Discounts for Teachers, an ISIC gets you discounts at many high‑street and online retailers. There is a small fee of £12 for the card, which lasts for 1 year.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service, for both our children and families.
- Ensure the children’s environment and your nursery is kept safe, secure and clean at all times.
- Be a role model for the children at all times.
- Work towards your qualification in childcare, ensuring all targets are met and you are always up to date with any assigned coursework.
- Assist in the thorough planning and successful delivery of a variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) to maintain the children’s interests and to ensure the development of all children in‑line with their own needs.
- Establish and maintain friendly but professional relationships with all parents, staff and suppliers.
- Attend all staff events including parents evening, staff meetings, summer fairs and training – some of these may be out of working hours and on weekends.
