We\’re now looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and help us continue to deliver exceptional food in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As Sous Chef, you\’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef with menu execution, team leadership, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service. This is a hands-on role ideal for a chef who thrives in a busy kitchen and has a genuine love for fresh, seasonal cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and daily operations
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, freshly prepared dishes
Take charge in the Head Chefs absence
Help develop seasonal menus and daily specials using fresh, local produce
Maintain kitchen hygiene standards and ensure full compliance with food safety regulations
Train and motivate junior kitchen staff
Manage stock levels, ordering, and waste reduction
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a fresh food environment
Genuine passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
Understanding of food safety and kitchen health & safety regulations
Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
