In our modern 120-bed care home divided across two well-supported units we deliver exceptional nursing care to residents with complex physical health needs, including those requiring end-of-life care, tracheostomy management, and high-dependency support. You\’ll be part of a skilled nursing team delivering hands‐on clinical care with precision, empathy, and purpose. Whether you\’re managing tracheostomies, overseeing PEG feeding, or supporting someone through their final days with compassion, you\’ll be at the heart of what makes our home outstanding.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver Complex Clinical Care: Confidently manage tracheostomies, PEGs, syringe drivers, and end‐of‐life protocols, ensuring every intervention is safe, dignified, and evidence‐based.

Champion Palliative Support: Work closely with families, GPs, and palliative care teams to deliver exceptional, person‐centred end‐of‐life care that honours individual wishes.

Lead by Example: Take charge of the shift, guide your care team with clinical clarity and calm authority, and ensure continuity of care through effective handovers.

Build Care Plans That Matter: Develop and review tailored care plans that reflect each resident\’s unique needs, preferences, and values.

Prioritise Dignity and Comfort: Be a reassuring presence for residents and families alike, advocating for comfort, choice, and emotional well‐being at every stage.

Monitor Health with Precision: Carry out routine and responsive clinical observations, escalating concerns and adapting care as needed.

Ensure Safe Medication Practices: Administer medications accurately and document interventions in line with best practice and CQC standards.

Be a Trusted Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for external healthcare professionals, building strong relationships to support collaborative, high‐quality care.

About You:

You\’re a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN.

You have hands‐on experience or a strong interest in caring for residents with tracheostomies, PEGs, complex needs, or palliative conditions.

You\’re calm in a crisis, confident in your clinical skills, and grounded in empathy.

You communicate clearly and kindly with residents, relatives, and your team.

You value dignity above all and take pride in providing care that respects each person as an individual.
