Cherrybrook Care Home is a beautifully designed, 120-bedded home in Bradford, split across two specialist units. We support individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia, and behaviours that challenge and we do so with compassion, structure and warmth. We’re looking for a Care Assistant to join our close-knit day team. This is a role where attentiveness and gentleness go hand in hand, and where a quiet word or reassuring presence can mean everything to someone.

What your day will look like:

As a Care Assistant, you’ll help residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities—always promoting dignity and independence. You’ll provide companionship, support with mobility, and keep care records up to date. Whether it’s helping someone get ready in the morning or enjoying a chat over tea, you’ll make a real difference every day.

About you:

You’ll have either your NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate. If not, we ask that you bring 6–12 months’ experience working in a care home, ideally supporting older people or those with dementia. But most importantly, you’ll bring a calm, reassuring nature and a real passion for people.
