The Engagement Manager role

The Engagement Manager will lead end-to-end customer onboarding and operational excellence, ensuring seamless integration of Light platform solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing comprehensive client onboarding processes while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Drive successful Light platform deployment and implementation, ensuring clients achieve maximum value from our solutions.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between clients and internal teams by gathering and communicating valuable product feedback to design and engineering departments, contributing to continuous product enhancement.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to evaluate performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans for expanded platform adoption and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

Your main mission is to help prospective customers onboard Light. Aside from being based in-office in London, this role requires you to be hungry, have an understanding of project management, core finance and accounting flows, and perhaps be a bit technical.

You’ll work with a small and stellar team with a deep understanding of the market who has done this before.

Your qualifications could be:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CFO tooling or experience with ERP systems and financial software implementations.
  • Professional experience at a Big 4 consulting firm with excellent project management capabilities.
  • Strong background in operational finance, including financial process optimization and system implementation.
  • Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • CFA charter holder or candidate.
  • Technical proficiency in understanding and discussing system integrations, APIs, and financial data flows.
  • Knowledge of financial data structures and reporting frameworks.
  • Understanding of accounting systems integration and automation.
