Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am (Night Shift) - some weekend work

About Goldcrest Lodge
Goldcrest Lodge is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Night Care Support Workers to join our team. Working as part of our experienced care team, you will help provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment throughout the night.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing Outstanding Care
- Support the Head of Care, Deputy, and Senior staff to maintain the highest standards of care
- Follow medical guidance and administer care in line with individual care plans
- Carry out regular welfare checks on children throughout the night (minimum every 15 minutes where required)
- Comfort, settle, and support children who wake during the night
- Promote the dignity, privacy, and wellbeing of every child
Household Duties
- Complete laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and putting away bedding and towels
- Assist with light food preparation when required
- Clean and maintain communal areas, including toilets, sinks, floors, and bins
Communication Record Keeping
- Maintain effective communication with the day team through accurate handovers
- Keep the Head of Care informed of any incidents or concerns during the night
- Complete daily reports for each child
- Record accidents, incidents, and medication administration accurately
Health, Safety & Safeguarding
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and fire safety procedures
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Attend mandatory training and professional development sessions
