Hours (shifts): 37.5 hours per week (Shift work on a rota basis, includes sleep-in duty and weekend working)

Position Overview

We’re looking for a confident and compassionate Shift Leader to help deliver exceptional respite care for children and young adults with complex disabilities at Cherry Trees. You’ll lead and support the care team, plan engaging activities and smooth daily routines, and provide high‑quality, hands‑on personalised care. With strong organisational skills and a child‑centred approach, you’ll ensure safeguarding, medication, documentation, and emergency procedures are followed to the highest standards. You’ll also mentor staff, promote positive relationships with families and colleagues, and help uphold our commitment to dignity, independence, and putting the child first in everything we do.
