Location: East Clandon, Surrey
Hours: Mondays 13:00 – 18:00 (extend to 10:00 – 18:00 on school holidays); Saturday & Sunday afternoons 14:00 – 18:00.
Salary: £14.75 per hour.
Responsibilities- To prepare and cook home‑made meals for the children using fresh ingredients.
- Encourage healthy eating and liaise with care staff to understand the children’s likes, dislikes & needs, ensuring the food provided reflects specialised diets and allergies.
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, ensuring statutory Health & Safety standards are met at all times and report any incidents in line with procedures.
- To understand and ensure implementation of relevant policies & procedures e.g. Health & Safety, Emergency & Fire procedures.
- To report any faulty appliances, damaged equipment, maintenance issues or other potential hazards to the Head of Care.
