A well-established manufacturing business in Burton-on-Trent, is seeking a Part-Time Stock Controller to support their busy operations team. This is a hands-on, varied role that will see you working across departments – from finance to production – ensuring inventory processes run smoothly and accurately. Ideal for someone looking to work approximately 25 hours per week across 5 days, this position offers flexibility around school hours and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive environment!
What we’re looking for:
- Organised, methodical, and confident using Excel
- Comfortable working to deadlines and across departments
- Hands-on, willing to go into warehouse/production areas when needed
- Experience with stock control, purchase orders, and reconciliations is desirable
The finer elements of the role include:
- Manage stock from process sheets through to finished goods
- Prepare daily loading lists for dispatch
- Process purchase order requests and enter goods receipts
- Participate in monthly stock takes and investigate variances
- Update product barcodes and bills of materials
- Cover the sales order desk when required
- Communicate with non-financial teams to resolve issues
