Legal Trainer (Private Client Law) | Up to £40k | 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (potential to go perm after) Monday to Friday | Location: Flexible (with travel across Regional Offices) | Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of Private Client lawyers? This established, forward-thinking law firm is on a mission to change the way people think about Wills, Probate and Estate Planning — helping clients protect not only their financial assets, but their emotional legacy too. We’re seeking a Legal Trainer to join a growing Learning & Development function and lead the design, delivery and continual improvement of training for the legal advisor network What we\’re looking for: Strong background in Private Client legal practice Experience in instructional design, facilitation and coaching A collaborative, values-driven approach with excellent communication skills Understanding of how training links to commercial performance and compliance Confidence using digital learning tools and virtual delivery platforms Familiarity with SRA, CILEX or equivalent qualification frameworks The finer elements of the role include: Designing and delivering engaging legal and skills-based training across all career stages, from induction through to senior advisory development Building comprehensive, outcome-driven training programmes — with structured agendas, engaging materials, and clear learning objectives Leading the induction and onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a consistent and values-led introduction to the business Acting as a mentor and coach, inspiring advisors to reach professional milestones and progress within a structured career framework Assessing competency, delivering performance interventions, and supporting continuous development through tailored CPD pathways Ensuring legal quality and compliance through observation, feedback, and proactive intervention Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to align training with legal standards, operational goals, and commercial priorities Supporting trainee solicitors and advisors on qualification pathways (CILEX, Solicitor, Chartered Paralegal) Acting as an ambassador for the internal Training Academy — promoting excellence in legal education and client experience Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
