Factory Manager | Sleaford | Permanent | Salary up to £65000 Cherry Professional are delighted to be recruiting for a Factory Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business, take full ownership of the factory\’s operations, and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and performance. Responsibilities: Overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring production targets are met. Driving quality and food safety, ensuring compliance with BRC and industry standards. Managing health & safety, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. Leading and developing a high-performing team, supporting training and development. Working with the Supply Chain team to ensure smooth and efficient production. Monitoring and improving factory performance metrics, reducing waste and increasing efficiency. Working on continuous improvement projects to enhance factory operations. Lead production, maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-efficiency, cost-effective operations while meeting strict food safety and quality requirements. Implement and champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve reliability. Manage plant assets through preventive maintenance and reliability programs, ensuring equipment integrity and minimizing downtime. Inspire and lead a high-performing team, supporting their professional development and fostering a positive work culture built on trust, respect, and open communication.  Ideal Candidate: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety OR NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety The successful candidate shall have proven experience in production planning, operations, and quality control within a food manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food manufacturing processes. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and compliance.
