Job Description Financial Controller | Lincolnshire | Hybrid Working | Up to Β£80,000 + Benefits (DOE) An Outstanding Opportunity to Join a Growing Manufacturing Business. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Controller to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Lincolnshire. With ambitious plans for continued growth, they are seeking a commercially focused finance leader who can provide robust financial control, support operational decision-making and help drive business performance. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, this is a highly visible role offering genuine influence across the organisation. You'll take ownership of the finance function, lead and develop an established finance team and provide the financial insight needed to support a dynamic and evolving business. The role offers excellent breadth, combining strong financial stewardship with commercial involvement across the wider organisation. Leading a finance team that includes qualified, part-qualified and transactional finance professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring the finance function continues to support the business as it grows. Lead, mentor and develop a finance team comprising qualified, part-qualified and transactional finance professionals Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes Deliver detailed variance analysis and performance reporting Support strategic decision-making through commercial analysis and insight Oversee cash flow management and working capital performance Maintain robust financial controls and governance procedures Ensure balance sheet integrity and reconciliation processes are maintained Coordinate year-end accounts preparation and audit requirements Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers and other professional advisers Drive process improvement and finance efficiency initiatives Support operational management with meaningful financial information and analysis Contribute to business improvement and growth projects as required You'll be comfortable operating within a busy environment, capable of balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day financial leadership. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Previous experience operating within a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or comparable senior finance position Alternatively, an ambitious and technically strong finance professional ready to step into their first Financial Controller role Strong financial and management reporting experience Ability to lead, develop and motivate finance teams Salary up to Β£80,000 plus benefits, depending on experience Hybrid working A broad and varied Financial Controller remit Direct exposure to the Finance Director, Managing Director and senior leadership team Leadership responsibility for an established finance team Significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence business performance This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional seeking a position with genuine responsibility, visibility and scope to make an impact.
