Group Marketing Manager
We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are seeking a creative and commercially driven Group Marketing Manager to lead marketing activity across a diverse portfolio of attractions, events and customer experiences.
This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced marketer who can combine strategy, creativity and commercial awareness to deliver campaigns that drive visitor numbers, customer engagement, revenue and brand growth.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the entire marketing process, from identifying audiences and commercial opportunities through to campaign development, delivery, optimisation and performance analysis.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll develop innovative marketing campaigns that stand out in a competitive marketplace while delivering measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy and campaign calendar.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social media, content, PR, email and offline channels.
- Identify target audiences and use customer insight and market trends to shape campaigns.
- Drive website performance, SEO, paid advertising, social media and customer engagement activity.
- Lead content creation, campaign messaging and creative asset development.
- Manage the promotion of seasonal events, new attractions, launches and special initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance, ROI and marketing KPIs, using data to optimise results.
- Manage marketing budgets, agencies and external suppliers.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure campaigns support wider commercial objectives.
- Identify new opportunities to grow audiences, increase repeat visits and enhance brand awareness.
About You
We’re looking for a marketer who is equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up their sleeves to deliver campaigns. You’ll have:
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing role.
- Strong experience delivering integrated multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
- Excellent digital marketing knowledge, including social media, content, email marketing and paid media.
- Experience using customer insight and data to drive marketing decisions.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of ROI and campaign performance.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Creativity, initiative and the confidence to develop and present new ideas.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience within leisure, attractions, tourism, hospitality, entertainment, retail or another consumer‑facing sector.
- Experience marketing events, launches or visitor destinations.
- Knowledge of SEO, PR and CRM/email marketing.
