CNC Laser & Press Brake Operator

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering manufacturing business for an experienced CNC Laser & Press Brake Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-invested production facility where quality, safety and continuous improvement are at the forefront of operations.
The Role
Working as part of a skilled manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting equipment and press brake machinery to produce high-quality components to specification. You will interpret engineering drawings, monitor quality standards and play a key role in ensuring efficient production output.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
- Operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form components to specification.
- Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
- Load and handle steel materials and raw components.
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
- Perform routine machine checks and basic preventative maintenance.
- Identify and report any production or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Work closely with production colleagues to achieve daily targets and deadlines.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using CNC press brake machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Experience handling sheet metal, steel and raw materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
