This is far more than a traditional management accounting position. Alongside ownership of core financial reporting activities, you'll play a key role in analysing project performance, supporting operational decision-making and providing meaningful financial insight to stakeholders across the business.
The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts and supporting commentary
- Analysis of project and business performance, profitability and margins
- Preparation of accruals, prepayments and month-end journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong financial controls
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes
- Monitoring project costs, performance and financial outcomes
- Providing commercial analysis and decision support to operational stakeholders
- Supporting year-end audit requirements
- Driving process improvements and finance best-practice initiatives
- Delivering meaningful insight to support strategic business decisions
About You
We are keen to speak with finance professionals who are:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or an outstanding qualified-by-experience finance professional with relevant project and commercial accounting experience
- Experienced within Management Accounting, Project Accounting or Commercial Finance
- Commercially minded and naturally curious
- Comfortable working closely with operational and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinkers with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, ambitious and keen to develop their career within a growing and progressive organisation
