A well-regarded mid-tier accountancy firm in Milton Keynes is looking to hire an Accounts & Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a genuine split of accounts preparation and audit work, with clear progression and exposure to a varied client base.
The roleYou’ll work across a broad portfolio (typically owner-managed businesses and groups), taking responsibility for:
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies (and supporting schedules)
- Supporting / leading on audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Drafting file completion documents and assisting with management letters
- Liaising directly with clients and helping to resolve queries efficiently
- Supporting junior team members and reviewing work (depending on level)What we’re looking for
- Proven accounts preparation experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong audit experience (fieldwork through to completion)
- ACA/ACCA: finalists with 1–2 exams remaining will be considered; newly qualified preferred
- Confident communicator with good attention to detail and a client-first mindsetWhat’s on offer
