Are you a dynamic and experienced Lettings professional? Would you like to join a successful independent and family-run Estate Agency, generating £1.5m a year? What if it meant you didn’t have to fight for stock, feed on scraps and only had 1 other person to manage? Sounds like a dream… As the Lettings Manager, you will be the driving force behind the lettings team, overseeing a portfolio of 700+ properties (the majority owned by the agency). This is a busy and varied role that requires a proactive and customer-centric approach. You’ll be responsible for managing a small team, conducting valuations, and handling new business enquiries, all while ensuring that the highest standards of service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day lettings operations, ensuring smooth processes and a high level of service.
- Conducting property valuations (3-4 per week).
- Overseeing the lettings process from start to finish, ensuring the best outcomes for both tenants and landlords.
- Regularly meeting with directors to discuss strategy.
- Providing legal and practical advice to the team, drawing on your solid background in lettings legislation.
- Driving new business initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with landlords.
Experience Required
- Seasoned in Lettings with experience of valuing properties.
- ARLA qualified would be desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate those around them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A proactive approach with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions quickly.
Salary & Additional Details
- Location: South London (Vauxhall/Oval Area), London
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 basic + £5,000 Car Allowance, £60,000 – £70,000 OTE.
- Hours: Mon–Thurs (9:30-19:00), Fri (9:30-18:00), Every other Sat (10:00-14:00) with half a day off in lieu.
To be considered, Lettings experience is a requirement. You could be a Lettings Manager, Assistant Lettings Manager, Lettings Valuer or Senior Lettings Negotiator.
