This is an exciting new role with one of our key clients in their estate management team. The Assistant Estate Manager is responsible for ensuring an excellent level of service is delivered and that the site is a desirable place to live. You will be the go-to person on site ensuring it is running to the best of its ability at all times. You will be working closely with the Estate Operations Manager to ensure your residents are happy in the environment they live and to fulfil your role as a safe, effective and proactive Landlord.

How you’ll do it:

  • By delivering first class on-site management service to customers including the provision of appropriate and responsive services.
  • Making recommendations to the Estate Operations Manager for the improvement of communal areas and estate services.
  • Delivering improved resident satisfaction results in line with the budget, seeking ways to make cost savings wherever possible.
  • Working collaboratively to ensure all teams achieve estate management targets effectively and economically.
  • Delivering services on budget and seeking ways of improving cost effectiveness whilst delivering ways of increasing income.
  • Finding creative solutions to address residents' individual needs by accompanying the estate management team on visits and inspections and meeting and listening to residents’ feedback.
  • Being responsible for driving service improvement initiatives that drive up customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring estate repairs are carried out quickly, efficiently and economically and that the team are gathering feedback from the customer and quality checking completed works.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Tenants.

Person Profile:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in the housing or property sectors.
  • Knowledge in maintenance, leaseholds and Estate Management.
  • IOSH or Affiliate/Associate TPI.
  • Customer focused.

Salary Package: £32,000 - £35,900 plus benefits. Hours: Flexible working, 7 hours a day between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
