About us Cherry Garden Music is a small business in Maidenhead. We are innovative, creative, and our goal is to provide modern and exciting tuition to aspiring musicians.
We are a small independent music school running from St Piran's school in Maidenhead at the weekend. We have a fantastic team of musicians working for us in a self-employed manner and we are now looking for an apprentice piano teacher to join us on a Sunday from 9am to 12.30pm. We will support & train you in taking your first steps in tutoring / teaching private music lessons.
Duties:
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and general progression.
Qualifications:
- Music related qualification e.g BA/Diploma/Grade 8/experience in your instrument.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £18 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate: Maidenhead: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience: No teaching / tutoring experience required
