Cherry Fields Primary School are looking to appoint a class based Learning Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated team

This role would be supporting a class teacher as a generalist Learning Assistant that can be deployed throughout the school. Ideally you will be an experienced Learning Assistant, but whatever your level of experience please use the supporting statement on the application form to show us how you match the skills we need and what you can bring to the role.

The Details

Start Date: October 2026

FTE Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 £23,914 Pro-rata (actual) salary: £18,572

Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 19th July 2026
