Cherry Blossom care home are looking to recruit a Part time Cook to join our passionate team.
About us –
Cherry Blossom is a purpose-built care home, Set in Cowes on the Isle of Wight it is within easy distance of the mainland, serviced by hourly commuter links. Cherry Blossom prides itself on giving and maintaining a family approach to care, by always putting the individual first making sure that all their comforts are fully catered for.
About the role –
- Cooking for up to 35 residents
- Developing healthy and balanced meals in consultation with residents and staff
- Being aware of people’s dietary requirements
- Monitoring kitchen stocks and ordering supplies when required
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.
About you –
- Previous experience in a similar position would be beneficial
- Good attention to detail
- Caring nature
- Good communication skills
