Be Part of Building a Growing Edinburgh Office
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: Β£60,000 + bonus + long-term equity potential
The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established accounting and advisory firm with a long-standing, successful London office, now investing in the growth of its Edinburgh presence. While the wider firm is already highly regarded and profitable, the Edinburgh office is still early in its journey. This creates a rare opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to join at an early stage, play a key role in shaping the office, and position themselves for future leadership and equity as the team grows. This is a pure accounting and advisory role. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to build something meaningful, backed by the stability of an established firm.
What You Will Be Doing
- Preparing full statutory accounts for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses
- Acting as a trusted advisor, helping clients understand their numbers and make better decisions
- Working closely with partners in both Edinburgh and London on client matters and growth plans
- Contributing to the development of the Edinburgh office β processes, culture, and client experience
- Identifying opportunities to add value and support long-term client relationships
This is a hands-on role with real autonomy and visibility.
Who This Role Is For
- Is fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CA / CIMA)
- Is comfortable preparing full sets of statutory accounts
- Has experience working with SMEs / owner-managed businesses
- Enjoys client-facing work and building trusted relationships
- Is ambitious and interested in long-term progression, not just the next job title
- Thrives in a small, growing team where your contribution genuinely matters
You do not need prior leadership experience β just the appetite to grow with the firm.
Why Apply?
- Join a financially secure, respected firm with an established London base
- Be part of building and shaping a growing Edinburgh office
- Clear pathway to senior responsibility and future equity
- Competitive salary, bonus, and long-term upside
- Supportive, adult culture with no big-firm bureaucracy
If you are a qualified accountant who wants to be part of something growing, with real influence and long-term upside, this is well worth a conversation. Even if the timing is not perfect, an informal, confidential chat could help you decide whether this opportunity fits your longer-term goals.
