Job Description
The Technology Platforms Procure to Pay (P2P) Lead will drive and be accountable for Technology Services P2P service across the globe.
This role will lead and optimize our end-to-end procurement and accounts payable processes. This role is responsible for managing the P2P team, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across procurement, vendor management, invoice processing, and payment functions.
The accountability for the P2P team has a direct impact on end user experience and project delivery, therefore being a role model and driving a service-oriented culture throughout the team is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and identify areas for improvement within P2P processes, recommending and implementing agreed solutions.
- Lead and manage improvement projects to enhance process efficiency, aligning actions with the Controllership framework and ensuring complete documentation.
- Provide structured feedback and updates to stakeholders, including Controllership, Finance, and Commercial teams, improvement actions, and project statuses.
- Deliver training to business functions on P2P processes, incorporating feedback to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives.
- Partner with P2P teams globally to share and apply best practices, contributing to the development of future P2P policies.
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience managing and developing technical teams across multiple cultures & global locations.
- Customer services experience and dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Significant previous experience in customer focused IT services role.
- Proven success in improving the customer experience.
- Experience successfully managing 3rd party service providers.
- Experience working within a matrix structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or in a relevant business or technical discipline or demonstration of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English.
- ITIL Qualification or SIAM knowledge (desirable).
Skills and Knowledge
- Stakeholder relationship management: Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders who use the P2P service, to help measure the effectiveness of the team and drive service improvement.
- Third party supplier relationship management: Develops and manages contracts with suppliers to meet key performance indicators and agreed targets, taking account of information security of third parties; benchmarks and uses supplier performance data to ensure monitoring and regular reviews; manages 3rd party suppliers to deliver value within agreed scope and service levels.
- Technical and business knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and ServiceNow; solid understanding of Purchasing process fundamentals; knowledge of information systems and corporate structure; familiarity with procurement and contract management software such as Coupa, Zycus or equivalent; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proactive with a sense of urgency; able to work independently with multiple priorities; change-agent mindset for results in a fast-paced TS environment.
