Multi-skilled Engineering Technician – Bristol (BS35)
Location: Unit 1, Central Park, Goldcrest Way, Bristol, BS35 4GH
Salary: £41,062.59 + 26% shift allowance = £51,739.86 per year
Shifts: 12-hour rotating day & night shifts (avg. 3.25 days/week)
Time Off: 6.6 weeks leave per annum (21.5 days holiday inclusive of BH)
Work-life balance: Just 13 shifts/month with 7 consecutive days off every cycle!

Join CHEP, the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. As a Multi-skilled Engineering Technician, you\’ll play a key role in keeping our automated systems running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
🔧 What you\’ll do:
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot faults and drive root cause analysis
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Log tasks via CMMS and supervise contractors
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
🛠️ What we need from you:
- Level 3 Apprenticeship or NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance
- Multi-skilled across both disciplines
- Strong fault-finding skills (electrical, mechanical, PLC)
- Experience in fast-paced, safety-driven environments
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use workshop tools
