Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the position, conducting initial phone screenings to evaluate their interest and skills.
  • Prepare and present a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers, highlighting their strengths and alignment with the job requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Maintain an organized candidate pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to understand their needs and preferences, providing a consultative approach to recruitment.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology to streamline processes and enhance candidate experience.
  • Adhere to all relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring fair and equitable hiring practices.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on candidate progress, hiring outcomes, and market trends to support continuous improvement in the recruitment process.

Position Purpose

The primary focus of this role is to be the strategic recruiting partner and point-of-contact for hiring managers and senior executives, leading the recruiting activities and collaborating with hiring managers and leadership on their hiring initiatives in UK&I Region. Individual will be responsible for all levels of Recruitment including Manager level and Executive recruiting for key positions in UK&I as well as provide support as needed to roles amongst the Europe Recruitment team. This role is critical to ensuring an adequate pipeline of top talent is available to fill key roles within the business, to function as a subject matter expert for talent acquisition, and truly function as a “Talent Consultant”.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process including intake meeting, job posting, pre-screen and telephone interviews for cross-functional client groups while developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.
  • Work with Brambles Talent Management and Business HR and Executive leadership on development of workforce planning to ensure we have a pipeline of talent at the Band 4+ level.
  • Source the best talent by identifying industry leaders, subject matter experts and respected competitors to recruit them to Brambles business units.
  • Ensure interview/assessment process is robust and fit for purpose for any role recruiting within the business.
  • Lead kickoff and wrap up meetings with hiring managers and executives and establish and manage a schedule of regular updates with hiring managers and executives and generate progress reports.
  • Evaluate staffing vendors and make recommendations on vendors usage and spend and ensure ATS Workday is kept fully up to date managing the end to end Recruitment process via the ATS.
  • Apply Boolean and other sourcing techniques on LinkedIn, with local networking groups and social media to build the passive talent pipeline; and utilize technology to keep in contact with Talent Communities.
  • Be responsible for project delivery/initiatives as the Europe Recruitment function develops and play a key role in the overall global HR strategy.

Qualifications

Essential: BS Degree in Business, Human Resources or other associated field.

Desirable: PHR Recruiting Certifications (LinkedIn etc.)

Experience:

  • 5-7 years track record of senior level staffing experience in Fortune FTSE 100 companies or an external agency/staffing/executive search firm.
  • Experience recruiting and building rapport at managers at all levels including C-level executives.
  • Experience using a Premier level ATS.
  • Extensive knowledge of online sourcing strategies (social media recruiting) and candidate relationship management tools/techniques.
  • Comfortable in high volume corporate recruiting environment.
  • Experience with recruiting in the area of Engineering, Sales & Customer Service, Plant Operations and IT is advantageous.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven track record of recruitment success in an agency and/or corporate environment.
  • Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and to effectively manage multiple searches/projects and candidates.
  • Ability to think very strategically about Manager and Executive talent while responding quickly to changing priorities.
  • Executive presence with the ability to earn trust and credibility quickly.
  • Ability to understand, articulate and sell Brambles culture and business initiatives.
  • Hands-on recruiting expertise utilizing passive networking techniques.
  • Sophisticated management of staffing metrics, reporting, analysis and manpower planning strategies for client groups.
  • Strong drive for results and commitment to a high calibre level of service to internal customers.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others.
  • Strong computer and technical proficiency, with a working knowledge of MS office and Web-based applications.
