About the Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in reshaping how Supply Chain supports business growth, moving it from a functional executor to a strategic enabler. This role is designed for an experienced programme leader who wants to work at the centre of large-scale, enterprise transformation.

Programme Context

The Supply Chain Transformation Programme exists to deliver a step-change in how the organisation operates – redefining the operating model, strengthening governance, and embedding a culture of disciplined, end-to-end delivery. You’ll connect strategy with execution, working closely with senior leaders to set direction, manage complexity across multiple workstreams, and ensure transformation delivers lasting, measurable impact rather than one-off change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Program's vision, objectives, and scope, including the establishment of formal milestones, delivery plans, and value drivers.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive Program plan, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and progress tracking, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate effective governance structures, including managing the Steering Committee and Executive Sponsorship Group, and documenting decisions, actions, and Program milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify interdependencies, mitigate risks, and manage change, ensuring alignment across related Programs and projects.
  • Oversee and support Project Managers by providing leadership, resources, and guidance to ensure projects align with the overall Program objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy, encompassing employee communications, training, and establishing a change agent network.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance objectives for the Program, and manage the tracking and reporting of benefits realization post-delivery.
  • Engage with external vendors and internal partners to coordinate third-party management and ensure compliance, risk control, and successful project rollout.

Experience

  • Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale programmes within a matrixed organization, with a strong focus on outcomes rather than activity.
  • Extensive experience managing programmes end to end, from concept inception (including defining success criteria) through to delivery, on time and within budget.
  • Experience influencing and engaging senior management and executive-level stakeholders within large organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining delivery momentum in complex environments and navigating programme challenges across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience working within manufacturing and supply chain environments. (Desirable)
  • Experience driving delivery in a remote-first environment across multiple time zones. (Desirable)
  • Experience supporting business case development and annual budget preparation processes. (Desirable)

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to ensure strategic vision is clearly understood and translated into executable plans.
  • Solid understanding of change programme implementation best practices and associated challenges.
  • High level of resilience and adaptability in dynamic, complex environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with a data-driven, analytical mindset.
