Job Description
Pallet Repair Operative – South Ockendon (RM15)
Salary: £27,710.00 + 33% shift allowance = £36,854.30 per year
Shifts: Monday to Friday Nights (10pm-6am)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: South Ockendon, RM15 (commutable from Rainham, Dagenham, Romford, Greys, Basildon, Brentwood & surrounding areas)

About the role
We’re looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP – the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You’ll inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment, utilising hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies.
What you’ll do
- Inspect and repair pallets using hand tools
- Apply safe working practices and meet safety standards

- Perform manual handling and housekeeping tasks
