About the role

We’re looking for a Pallet Repair Operative to join CHEP – the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You’ll inspect and repair pallets in a fast-paced, target-driven production environment, utilising hand tools and collaborating with automation and new technologies.

What you’ll do

  • Inspect and repair pallets using hand tools
  • Apply safe working practices and meet safety standards
  • Maintain quality and production targets
  • Perform manual handling and housekeeping tasks
  • Support automation processes and adapt to new technologies
  • Uphold professional conduct and timekeeping standards

What we need from you

  • Experience in a production or repair environment preferred
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
  • Safety-conscious and reliable
  • Able to work to quality standards in a fast-paced setting
  • Willingness to learn and work with automation
  • Experience in using power tools and hand tools would be beneficial
