We are a small business with large business capabilities due to our shared-services Program Management Office (PMO) structure. Through our ISO 9001:2015 certification, we can accomplish the full range of contract services including financial, human capital, recruiting, procurement, security, and technical resources to achieve contract mission requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor computerized Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), and Automated Access Control Systems (AACS).
- Assess and interpret alarms; coordinate appropriate emergency or security response via Radio Dispatch Center (RDC).
- Utilize access lists to verify clearance status and authorize entry into restricted areas.
- Maintain and document logs of all alarm activities, hourly surveillance checks, and communications.
- Respond professionally to non-emergency and emergency calls and direct them to the RDC as required.
- Operate communications equipment including radio consoles, portable radios, and secure telephones.
- Create, maintain, and organize files and documentation according to SOPs.
- Prepare supply requisitions for inventory maintenance of consumables and non-consumables.
- Provide professional and tactful guidance to individuals denied access.
- Refer complex or unresolved issues to the AMP Site Supervisor or designated authority.
- Support emergent security incidents and events, including managing area load lists.
- Maintain consistent work attendance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience in alarm monitoring, physical security, military operations center, emergency communications, or a similar environment is preferred.
- Interim Secret clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including the ability to quickly learn and operate multiple software systems, databases, and electronic monitoring tools.
- Ability to assess active situations and make sound, timely decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey information to team members, security personnel, and emergency responders.
- Skilled in operating alarm monitoring systems, radio equipment, and office technology.
- High level of attentiveness to environmental and operational changes.
- Adequate problem identification and resolution skills.
- Ability to accept feedback and adjust performance accordingly.
- Capable of maintaining accurate logs, organizing records, and managing inventory.
- Ability to manage emotional responses in high-stress or emergency scenarios.
- Maintains punctuality, follows schedules, and demonstrates reliability in all duties.
