About the Role
We are looking for caring, reliable, and committed female Domiciliary Care Assistants to support vulnerable adults in their own homes. This role is ideal for drivers seeking local work, consistent hours, and a supportive team environment. You will be providing safe, person-centred care while building trusted relationships with regular clients.
Working Pattern Options:
- Full-time: 35-40 hours per week
- Part-time: 15-20 hours per week
- Block hours: Regular, consistent shifts with the same clients (e.g. morning and evening runs or full-day blocks)
- Weekend work: Saturday and/or Sunday availability
Special Requirements:
Part-time applicants must be able to consistently cover at least two consecutive days per week, in line with rota planning and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Assisting with medication in line with care plans
- Supporting clients with mobility and daily routines
- Preparing meals and assisting with light household tasks
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate daily care notes
- Following safeguarding, health, and safety procedures
Experience and Requirements:
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- Female applicants preferred due to care requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to an own vehicle preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
