ChemTX Ltd is a specialist oil testing laboratory supporting a wide range of industrial clients with critical electrical and mechanical assets. We provide high-quality, reliable analysis to help our clients monitor equipment condition, reduce downtime, and extend asset life. We’re now seeking an Office Administrator to join our dedicated team and help deliver exceptional analytical services.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join and provide support for our small team in Wishaw. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our testing services, supporting both customer-facing and internal processes. You will manage core administrative functions and coordinate efficiently between clients, suppliers, and laboratory staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and issue quotations & invoices for customers
· Receipt and process purchase transactions
· File job cards upon completion of work
· Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers
· Assist lab staff with Logging incoming samples into LIMS database
· Provide general administrative support as per business requirements.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Experience in an administrative or office support role
· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Confidence / Experience using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, email)
· Experience with Clearbooks accounting software (desirable)
· Familiarity with LIMS or other data management systems (training will be provided)
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a small team environment
