An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical) to join our team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical) is responsible for coordinating and supervising all electrical maintenance activities across site. This role is critical in ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining electrical asset reliability, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team of HV/LV Electrical Technicians to support safe and efficient site operations.
We're looking for an experienced Supervisor who can take a proactive and hands-on approach to electrical maintenance leadership. At CEUK, you will work as part of a diverse team, collaborating with Maintenance, Production, Engineering and external contractors to ensure maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. With safety, compliance and operational excellence at the core, you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, supporting site performance and developing maintenance best practice.

Key Accountabilities & Duties:
- Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with H&SE legislation, company policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive safety culture and drive engagement in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical inspection, testing and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, DSEAR, ATEX and site electrical safety standards as applicable.
- Act as the main point of contact for all electrical maintenance activities across the site, coordinating both internal and external maintenance resources.
- Manage contractor and internal maintenance performance, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to ensure maintenance activities are appropriately planned, risk assessed, resourced and completed to schedule.
- Lead root cause investigations relating to electrical failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
- Ensure the effective use and governance of the CMMS, including work order management, asset records, maintenance plans and reporting.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve the reliability and performance of process and safety-critical equipment.
- Lead, supervise and develop Electrical Maintenance Technicians, ensuring appropriate competency, training and succession planning is maintained.
- Support maintenance budgeting activities, including contractor costs and spare parts expenditure control.

- A sound understanding of company procedures, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.
Qualifications/Experience:
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship.
- Knowledge and experience of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years' electrical maintenance supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of electrical systems, PLCs, drives and industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR requirements and safe systems of work.
- Experience of managing CMMS systems.
- Experience within COMAH, explosives, chemical, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
- CompEx Ex01-Ex06, IOSH Managing Safely and HV/LV Authorised Person experience would be desirable.
