Responsibilities
The CAD Draughtsperson will be required to process Engineering Change Request (ECR) work packages in accordance with the company Engineering Change Order (ECO) process and provide drawing support to all CCM departments.
- Produce engineering drawings and CAD Models using Autodesk Inventor to current drawing office procedures
- To be proficient with Autodesk File Management systems, VAULT
- Maintain development and production drawing data packs in accordance with the CAD & Technical Drawing Management policy
- Utilise AutoCAD when necessary to update and maintain CCM historical product drawings/site map and data packs
- Create and maintain development and production MRIs using ERP/MRP system
- Maintain drawing number and data sheet registers
CAD Draughtsperson Specification
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Level 4 NVQ/HNC or equivalent in Engineering or related subject
- 3D CAD Skills preferably Autodesk Inventor
- Knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of BS8888 drawing standards
- Previous experience in Drawing Office CAD
This role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 16:45 and Friday 08:00 12:30. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team.
