Chemring Energetics UK is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers. Are you an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a proven track record in designing, developing, and managing electrical engineering projects? We’re looking for a Project Engineer (Electrical) to take responsibility for the management of the design, development, maintenance, and compliance of electrical systems across our Ardeer site. This role is central to ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing electrical infrastructure within a unique explosive manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are carried out in full compliance with Health, Safety and proactively report unsafe acts or conditions via the Near Miss system.
- Identify the equipment, resources, and expertise required to deliver the site’s electrical engineering function.
- Oversee all electrical engineering activities across site, ensuring work is completed in accordance with specifications, method statements, risk assessments, and required control measures.
- Manage the ongoing testing, maintenance, upgrades, and statutory inspections of site low and high voltage electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and update site electrical engineering standards and procedures.
