Their healthcare team is growing, and they’re now looking to bring in a thoughtful, detail-driven Medical Writer to support a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare brands.

This is a great opportunity for a medical writer who enjoys combining scientific rigour with creativity, and who wants to work in a highly collaborative, strategically led agency environment.

The agency is known for translating complex ideas into powerful, engaging stories. Within their healthcare offering, that means producing work that is scientifically robust, compliant, and creatively strong.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary healthcare team and play a key role in shaping content across multiple accounts. Precision, curiosity, and a genuine respect for language are essential — this is a role for someone who takes accuracy seriously but also enjoys the craft of storytelling.

This position would suit a medical writer with around 2-5 years’ experience in a promotional healthcare or pharmaceutical agency setting. You’ll work across a wide range of deliverables, from short, tactical pieces through to more complex strategic documents, including:

  • Digital content (websites, eDetails, interactive materials)
  • HCP-facing materials (for healthcare professionals)
  • Patient-facing materials
  • Messaging frameworks
  • Internal communications and training materials

You’ll collaborate closely with medical, creative, and account teams to ensure all work is accurate, approvable, and aligned with brand strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident contributing to client discussions and internal reviews
  • Able to clearly explain scientific rationale and defend content decisions
  • Comfortable working alongside creatives, strategists, and medical colleagues
  • Enjoys shaping ideas as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong grasp of tone, brand voice, and compliance
  • Able to quickly build knowledge of therapy areas
  • Skilled at distilling complex clinical data into clear, engaging communications
  • Strong referencing practices

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with relevant writing experience
  • Postgraduate qualification preferred
  • Fully trained in Veeva PromoMats
  • Excellent command of English grammar and written communication
  • Creatively minded, with an understanding of data visualisation and design principles

Bonus

  • Knowledge of, or experience working with, the US healthcare market

This is a chance to work within a highly respected global agency, known for its creative excellence and strategic thinking, while developing your career in healthcare communications.
