As we grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic
Analytical / Lab Support Chemist to be a key player in our innovative journey at The Wilton Centre, Redcar, Teesside.
In this hands-on role, you'llsupport a wide range of laboratory activities, from routine analyses toassistingwith the development of advanced selective extraction methods.
Your contributions will directlyimpactthe advancement of our Selectal™ technology and help usmaintainour position at the forefront of Aqua Mining.

Requirements
This role is for you if you have
- A degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineeringor a related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrable and practical experience (ideally 5 years+) in laboratory techniques such as solution preparation, pipetting, titration, and basic instrumentation handling.
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and data analysis, including methods such as ICP, UV-Visspectroscopy, orchromatographyisadvantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and cleanliness.
- Excellent organisational, problem solving and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work well independently and within a small and multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment.
- Are able to work on-site in Redcar, U. K.
Ideally you will also have
- Experience in supporting research and development projects in a laboratory setting.
- An understanding ofmetal extraction technologies.
- Previousexperience working in an SME or start-up, showcasingflexibility and initiative.
- A knowledge of COSHH regulations, safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
