Local Payer Engagement Manager - Continence and Ostomy Care. This is an exciting new opportunity to work as a Local Payer Engagement Manager for a market leading healthcare organisation. Are you passionate about shaping meaningful partnerships with the local NHS organisation? We are seeking a Local Payer Engagement Manager to activate the clients value proposition to payers, specifically Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). This role builds a sophisticated understanding of payer priorities, designs compelling local engagement strategies, develops tailored campaigns, and ensures the organisation presents a consistent and differentiated offer at a payer level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Value Proposition Activation: Own the activation and refinement of local payer value proposition and narratives, addressing ICB priorities such as efficiency, outcomes, pathway redesign and system cost reduction in line with the agreed national market access strategy and value narrative.
  • Payer Insight & Strategy: Develop deep knowledge of ICB structures, commissioning priorities, challenges and population health needs.
  • Payer Engagement & Campaign Development: Lead the creation of payer-targeted toolboxes, including campaigns and local communication pieces.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong, strategic relationships with key payer stakeholders across ICBs.

The client is a market leading supplier of intimate healthcare products and services operating across Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Urology Care and Wound and Skin Care markets.

Experience: Experience in a similar pharmaceutical/medical device type role. Experience developing compelling communication pieces, marketing materials and campaigns. Experience in healthcare commissioning, payer engagement, NHS commercial roles, market access or health economics is beneficial to the role, but not critical.

Storytelling & Marketing Expertise: Strong capability in developing differentiated communication tools, with the ability to craft targeted engagement campaigns for payer stakeholders and activate them through training and tracking.

Stakeholder Management: Able to build credibility with local payer and internal stakeholders, challenge assumptions and support productive dialogue.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent. Desirable: Business or commercial qualification. Essential: Full UK drivers licence.
