Are you working in primary care as a Nurse and are you passionate about the delivery of the highest quality of care to improve patient outcomes in line with National guidelines? The Client is a leading service provider driving healthcare strategies to deliver measurable outcomes in Diabetes, Respiratory and Cardiovascular disease areas.
This is an exciting role working in the field of Asthma and COPD supporting healthcare professionals/patients to make informed decisions about treatment pathways in Asthma and COPD. Working in partnership with the NHS in primary care you will deliver a unique nursing programme which will focus closely on driving best practice, delivering excellent patient care and improving patient outcomes.
As a specialist nurse advisor with an intimate understanding of national treatment guidelines, you will work together with patients and practices to assist healthcare professionals to deliver the most up to date care for their patients.
Qualifications
- Essential: First Level Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered.
- A recognised qualification or diploma in Asthma/COPD or Respiratory experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Person/Experience Required
This role will suit a patient focused NMC registered nurse who can demonstrate experience of working in Asthma and COPD. Previous nurse advisory experience is desirable, together with strong interpersonal skills, and keen desire to deliver fantastic results with a consistent patient focus. This role is home based and involves responsibility for a defined geographical area and so demands excellent planning & organisational skills along with confident driving.
