About the role

Location: Hybrid/Flexible (Office located: Lancashire, WN8)
As an Agile Delivery Manager, you'll help our product teams do their best work and deliver great outcomes for our customers and the business. You'll work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep priorities clear, delivery on track, and teams focused on what matters most. This role is all about enabling success. You'll support teams to overcome challenges, improve the way they work, and deliver value in a consistent and predictable way. Whether it's helping to remove blockers, managing dependencies, facilitating planning, or using data to identify opportunities for improvement, you'll play a key part in keeping momentum high.
You'll be someone who enjoys bringing people together, building strong relationships, and creating an environment where teams can do their best work. You'll encourage collaboration, support continuous improvement, and help foster a culture where ideas are shared openly and challenges are tackled together. In a fast-moving technology environment, you'll help teams navigate change, overcome obstacles, and turn great ideas into valuable outcomes for our customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
As the Agile Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
•To lead on delivery across one or more product teams
•Building and enabling high performing teams
•Champion and coach on agile practice across one or more product teams and the wider department
•Identify and capture appropriate delivery data and use this to support continuous improvement of team effectiveness
•Driving delivery and business outcomes
•Ensure teams are using appropriate planning and delivery cycles to support the delivery of product roadmaps and in line with portfolio cadences
•Ensure delivery work is visible, predictable and aligned to strategy
•Ensure delivery progress is communicated and managed appropriately and in time
•Proactively manage risks, issues, blockers and dependencies
•Identify and facilitate collaboration opportunities across product teams.
About You
You're a passionate Agile Delivery Manager who thrives on helping teams deliver value at pace while continuously improving how they work. You are comfortable using delivery data, flow metrics and team insights to drive informed decision-making, improve predictability, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You excel at managing priorities, risks, dependencies and stakeholders in complex environments and can balance strategic objectives with day-to-day delivery needs. Most importantly, you're motivated by delivering meaningful business value, creating an environment where teams can do their best work, and fostering a culture of learning, transparency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful Agile Delivery Manager will need to showcase the following skills and experience:
Essential
•3+ years’ experience delivering digital products using Agile methodologies
•Relevant Agile certification e.g. Scrum, Kanban or equivalent
•Experience using delivery metrics and flow data to improve team performance and delivery outcomes
•Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and the role agile practices play in successful product delivery
•Hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, reporting, metrics and work visualisation
•Experience working within a product-led organisation.
Desirable
•Experience in ecommerce, health tech or regulated environments
•Exposure to cloud native or modern engineering environments.
