At Chemist4U, we’re looking for a Head of Delivery to build, lead, and scale our delivery function. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for ensuring product and engineering initiatives are delivered predictably, sustainably, and in line with business goals. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product, Engineering Manager, and senior stakeholders across the organisation to create a joined‑up, outcome‑driven delivery environment. You’ll define how delivery operates, set clear standards, and build a high‑performing team of Delivery Managers. This role is central to our evolution towards a more mature, product operating model, ensuring teams are aligned, risks are visible, and roadmaps translate into real‑world outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Head of Delivery will be responsible for leading and owning the following key areas:
- Building and leading the Delivery function, including hiring and line‑managing Delivery Managers
- Defining and embedding a clear delivery operating model across Product and Engineering
- Establishing predictable planning and delivery rhythms to support the product roadmaps
- Providing portfolio‑level oversight, surfacing dependencies, risks, and constraints early
- Improving flow, throughput, and delivery confidence across teams
- Creating clear visibility for senior stakeholders to support informed decision‑making
- Driving continuous improvement while keeping processes pragmatic and lightweight
- Building strong cross‑functional relationships across Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations and Marketing
- Coaching teams in planning, flow principles, and sustainable delivery practices.
About You

Qualifications & Experience
This role requires an experienced delivery leader with a strong grasp of modern product operating models, capable of building delivery capability, improving predictability, and working confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience across delivery functions in multi‑team product or engineering environments
- Strong understanding of modern product operating models, Agile and Kanban principles
- Demonstrable experience improving delivery predictability and portfolio visibility
- Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional leaders
- Background building and managing delivery capability.
- Experience in ecommerce, health tech or regulated environments
- Experience scaling delivery during periods of rapid growth
- Exposure to cloud‑native or modern engineering environments.
