About the Role – An exciting new opportunity to join our global commercial team. Director of Business Development is a permanent role, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, which could lead to broader opportunities. We’re currently searching for an experienced business development manager who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and trains our sales professionals. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart. Responsibilities : Focused on our key Market Sectors – Manages and leads the business development activities. In partnership with the Chief Customer Officer, with clear goals and objectives within the EMEA market sector team, and provides customer market intelligence and direction to support achieving goals and objectives. Pipeline management – Manage pipeline targets aligned with our core, strengthen, market sectors and drive momentum, and achieve our target goals. Oversee preparation for quotations and present solutions to target and growth customers. Market Strategy – Leads the development of our regional strategy supporting and identifying internal and external factors that shape the market strategy and evaluating how those factors may impact our value proposition strategy. Identify opportunities for new capabilities/services and enablers required to execute our strategy. Sector knowledge in either Medical, High-End Industrial, Space or Cyber-Security. Customer Service Excellence – Represent the voice of the customer throughout Chemigraphic. Work with customers to identify their needs. Develop and execute solutions to those needs to deliver customer excellence and grow Chemigraphic profitable revenue. Relationships – Build and sustain multi-level relationships with key customers. When required, engage with customer’s executive levels and decision-makers. Experience/Qualifications – Five (5) years of related experience is required, EMS is an Advantage. Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work independently or with a cross-functional team Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications Strong relationship skills/ability to adjust to other cultures Negotiation experience Exceptional influencing skills Experience working in a small global team with rapid growth plans Ability to lead without direct authority Educational background in business, marketing, or finance
