Job Description
The Purchasing Manager will lead the Purchasing function and ensure that all operational activities associated with purchasing are carried out in compliance to the company standards for Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality. This includes liaising with other departments to ensure effective running of the purchasing department and taking full responsibility for the effective interaction of the department with other functions and their personnel.
Job Requirements
- You are an experienced chemicals purchasing manager, multi-million spend
- Experience managing a small team well and keeping things running smoothly
- You must have a positive, proactive personality and be a natural problem solver
- You must be an excellent negotiator, great organiser and project manager
- Ideally have accreditation from Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply
