Role: As part of our R&D Team, you'll play a vital role in leading research and the delivery of innovative projects across the business:

  • Support Innovation - Work closely with the Group R&D team to help drive innovation and growth across a variety of research and development initiatives.
  • Leading key project workstreams - aligned closely with Cranswick key customers and presenting and delivering longer term strategies.
  • Keep Projects on Track - Maintain and update the central R&D tracker, ensuring accurate logging of project activity and supporting documentation for R&D Tax Credit purposes.
  • Assist with Project Delivery - Provide coordination support across multiple live projects, organising timelines, meetings, and the running of trials.
  • Enable Collaboration - Help facilitate partnerships with universities, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders involved in strategic R&D projects.
  • Coordinate Communication - Organising cross-functional R&D meetings involving Technical, NPD, ESG, and Marketing teams.
  • Promote Awareness - Delivering internal communications and learning sessions that raise awareness of R&D activities across the wider business.

What We're Looking For: We are searching for an ambitious, self-motivated individual with a passion for innovation and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Degree in Food Science or a related field (desirable).
  • Strong technical or operational awareness in the food industry, ideally at middle management level.
  • A proven track record of supporting & implementing strategies that drive success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate across all levels, from the Executive Board to operational staff.
  • Experience interacting with food retailers and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational and management abilities.
  • A proactive, resilient attitude with a clear focus on delivering results.
